Mr. Marshall is reported to be a card carrying member of the terrifying organization Al-Gebra. He came to Cherokee already well trained in the use of Weapons of Math Instruction. His training camps attended include:
VA Tech - BA in Math Ed
dual major in History
Western Carolina University - MA in Math Ed
Penn State - Coursework and comprehensive exams completed towards a PhD in Math Ed
In 2006, Mr. Marshall was named Cherokee High School Teacher of the Year. Many students have reported him saying, "If you work, then you pass."
