The Sacred Path program is a character education program developed to promote caring, responsibility, and respect for self and others while following traditional tribal beliefs. Each grade level meets to discuss issues that need to be addressed within the grade block and the school. Together they determine solutions to any problems that are addressed and work together to solve those problems. Students and teachers work together on the Sacred Path to make the school a safe place to learn.
Please stop by to see your child's picture on the SACRED PATH BULLETIN BOARD!
What you can do to help?
1. Make sure your child has a good nights sleep. (8 hours) Sleep deprived children often act out in school and have trouble focusing on work.
2. Support our classroom discipline program. I send home daily behavior charts. Please sign them and discuss them with your child if there is a problem. Remember, your child comes to school to learn. Any time there is a discipline problem it takes away from learning time.
3. Help your child with his/her homework. Have a set time and place each evening. This helps your child get in the habit of doing his/her work and actually looking forward to it.
There will be homework each evening. usually a worksheet and three books.
