Mrs, Jones, Mrs. French and
Ms. Walker welcome you to our first grade class. This year we have
been learning sign language. We are learning to be responsible, respectful,
truthful and caring as we follow the Sacred Path.

The Sacred Path program is a character education program developed to
promote caring, responsibility, and respect for self and others while following
traditional tribal beliefs. Each grade level meets to discuss issues that
need to be addressed within the grade block and the school. Together they
determine solutions to any problems that are addressed and work together
to solve those problems. Students and teachers work together on the Sacred
Path to make the school a safe place to learn.
As a parent involvement activity, please make an Easter basket with
your child. These baskets can be made from any material you wish
to use. Please have your child bring his/her basket in by April 12th.
Each participant will be given an incentive prize.
