Welcome To...Mrs. Stewman's Inclusion Classes For 3rd Grade---- Harris and PostOak |
||
Description of ServicesMy job in both Ms. Harris' and Ms. PostOak's classes is to help all children in any way possible. Even though I am a special education teacher, I feel that ALL CHILDREN ARE SPECIAL and have unique needs. I help both teachers with math and integrated reading instruction as well as writing. I also do an individual reading intervention with those who need it called the Great Leaps Reading Program. I also assist with modifying instructional materials to meet student needs and levels. It is a joy to help make both classrooms success oriented learning communities where students are excited about school!! |
Daily ScheduleI am in each room for half a day each day. I rotate mornings and afternoons daily. |

Activities to Help Child at Home-Even children who are strong readers need to read aloud DAILY to someone older. -Check with your child EVERY NIGHT to be sure all homework is done, papers signed. -Make sure your child packs their backpack at NIGHT. If you tend to run late in the mornings, hang the book bag on the door you go out of. This really avoids a lot of stress for your child at school! |
