To Parent/Guardians:
I hope that you are having a great summer! We all worked hard this year, but I feel that your child is going to be ready for first grade.
Some of my suggestions for the summer would be to read to your child, and to have him/her read to you. Spending time with each other reading will help teach your child that reading can be fun as well as informative.
ENJOY SUMMER TIME...
The Sacred Path program is a character education program developed to promote caring, responsibility, and respect for self and others while following traditional tribal beliefs. Each grade level meets to discuss issues that need to be addressed within the grade block and the school. Together they determine solutions to any problems that are addressed and work together to solve those problems. Students and teachers work together on the Sacred Path to make the school a safe place to learn.
Each one of my students have demonstrated that he/she is trying to be on the Sacred Path...continue to encourage your child that the Sacred Path is important, and to remain on the right path...
Just think, kids, in a few months...you'll be "keepers of the little people."
Don't forget to laugh with your child each day this summer! It has been wonderful teaching your child. Thank you for allowing us to teach him/her during Kindergarten. I will truly miss each of my students, but I know that they will all be successful in first grade.
For those who will be coming into my classroom next year, I will post my instructional schedule later this summer.

3. Do your very best in everything that you try.
4. Keep your hands to yourself.
5. Walk in the buildings.
6. Use a quiet voice.
7. Be nice to everyone.
8. Listen to your teachers.
STUDENTS: ENJOY YOUR SUMMER...HOPE TO SEE YOU NEXT YEAR SOME, TOO!
PARENTS: HAVE YOUR CHILD READ AND WRITE SOMETHING EACH DAY...AND ENJOY YOUR TIME TOGETHER.
