Welcome to third grade at Cherokee Elementary School.
We have been working very hard and are all looking forward to Spring break ,the week of April17th.
We have started a unit of study on the solar system in science and reading. On April 12th we will be attending the Rollons Planetarium in Young Harris,
Georgia.
This is an important part of our learning and we hope everyone is able to be here that day. Be sure to arrive on time, we will be leaving promptly at 8:15. We will be returning in time for buses in the afternoon. Be sure your child has returned a permission slip for this trip.
Monday may 7,-MAY 11TH 2006: Students need to get a good nights rest.
MONDAY MAY 8TH-FRIDAY MAY 12TH 2006: North Carolina State END OF GRADE TESTING. (Students need to be Present and on Time)Anyone arriving late will not be allowed to interrupt other students who have already began testing. They will be kept in the library or front office until testing is completed for that day, putting them behind other students. They will be tested on the make-up day along with other students who were absent
